Deprescribing antidepressants

Deprescribing antidepressants in the community may be a potential cost- and resource-saving measure, but this is only valuable if the person does not then relapse. When to consider discontinuing antidepressants, and when not to 3. Why the media publicity suggesting antidepressants are highly addictive and ineffective is detrimental and mostly wrong 4. Why NICE and some other groups are not very helpful about the efficacy of antidepressants 5. Tips for successful antidepressant discontinuing and longer-term follow-up.
