This presentation will delve into our experiences in setting up pharmacist and pharmacy technician led renal transplant clinics within our Trust. We will share some of the history behind the implementation, what we have learnt during the process and where we would like to go next. We will also discuss how we have empowered our renal pharmacy technicians to undertake new roles and responsibilities than they may have traditionally undertaken and some of the challenges we encounter with delivery of our service. We look forward to sharing our experiences with other like minded professionals and having open discussions about the ever evolving role of pharmacy professionals.
