The session will focus on the changes ahead for Foundation Training, and the key milestones as we progress to 2025/26 where graduates will be prescriber ready at point of registration.

The session will help stakeholders to understand what this means for them and the support available to prepare for the changes:

 Understand NHS England’s role as a Statutory Education Body and the next steps for Foundation Training

• Understand the National Recruitment Scheme (Oriel) as the route to obtain a Foundation Training place from 2025/2026
• Refresh knowledge on the national Trainee Foundation Pharmacist Programme across all sectors of pharmacy
• Refresh knowledge on the quality agenda for Foundation Training
