This session will use several key questions to delve into how parenteral nutrition is used in a tertiary Children’s Hospital. What is parenteral nutrition and what are the differences between adult and paediatric preparations? When should we use it? How can we effectively deliver parenteral nutrition and why is it useful for our patients? The session will aim to explain the benefits, disadvantages, and complications of using parenteral nutrition in paediatric patients.
