The PDA is the only independent trade union exclusively for pharmacists in the UK and its 38,000 members include those practising across all areas of pharmacy. As more pharmacists are employed in GP Practice, the PDA’s activity has correspondingly increased in those environments. The PDA is now organising members in GP Practice, and across primary care, to work together to understand and exercise their rights at work, to ensure safe workplaces for themselves and their patients, to tackle inequality and to progress their careers while demanding fair work and reward.
