In this presentation, we will explore a quality improvement project aimed at reducing medicine waste in community pharmacies. Titled "WASTE NOT WANT NOT; What’s in your bag? Empowering patients to manage medicines safely," the project focused on increasing patient awareness and responsibility towards medication management to minimize medicine waste. Through targeted interventions and data collection, significant reductions in uncollected prescriptions were achieved, highlighting the impact of patient engagement in promoting sustainability in pharmacy practice.
