Public procurement is changing with a greater focus on sustainability and social value. We discuss how our NHS procurement hub is supporting the journey to net zero with focus on select examples including medicines homecare and Oral Nutritional Supplements. Lastly, we think about our roles in how to drive sustainability. From understanding the concept of sustainability to implementing practical solutions, this session aims to empower pharmacy professionals to play a vital role in contributing to a greener future while ensuring optimal patient care and well-being.
