Stopping racism at the front line of pharmacy

PDA members see the impact of racism at the frontline. In this panel event, members of the PDA BAME Network will discuss key trends in racism in pharmacy in relation to available data such as the NHS Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES). They will then speak about how and why employers need to challenge and address racism wherever it is present and commit to having anti-racist workplaces.  Attendees will learn how resources such as the PDA Anti-Racist Pharmacy Toolkit are critical to ensure that racism can be driven out of their working environment.

Speakers
Elsy Gomez Campos, Immediate Past President - PDA BAME Network
Fasi Payman, PDA Representative for Hospital Pharmacy - Pharmacists' Defence Association
Sherifat Muhammad Kamal, Co-Opted Member - PDA BAME Network
