This session will use case studies and a variety of resources available from PrescQIPP, to assess and address the issue of overprescribing. The session will demonstrate PrescQIPP data tools which will enable you to identify your oversupply and overprescribing issues locally and showcase education and training materials to upskill people dealing with overprescribing and oversupply is clinical areas.

  • Be aware of the variety of resources available from PrescQIPP to support medicines optimisation and a reduction in overprescribing.
  • Be aware of the PrescQIPP data tools which enable you to find oversupply/overprescribing issues locally.
  • Know what education and training materials are available to upskill people dealing with overprescribing.
