A session on how people with a learning disability can be protected from medication harms. Information and inspiration for pharmacy professionals and the communities they serve.
 
The session objectives are:
  • Learn about the national Medicines Safety Improvement Programme for people with a Learning disability.
  • Re-consider the harms and benefits of psychtropics for people with a learning disability.
  • Understand why psychiatrists prescribe psychtropics for people with a learning disability.
  • Overcome the social taboo. Talking about sex and learning disability.
  • Find out how you can help people with a learning disability live their best lives.
