Climate change is already affecting many aspects of daily life—and its impact will only grow. One area that has received little attention is how rising temperatures and changing conditions may affect the safe storage of medicines in patients’ homes. As our climate shifts, will patients still be able to store their medicines within the temperature ranges required by licensing guidelines? This talk explores the potential risks and challenges, and considers what actions may be needed to ensure continued patient safety.
