How can you support adult social care? A whole system approach

10 May 2025
Strategy & Policy Forum
Adult social care is a vital part of our healthcare infrastructure, yet it often struggles to access the medicines support it needs to deliver safe and effective care. Many providers face significant challenges when trying to seek support—challenges that impact the quality of care for some of our most vulnerable populations. This session will explore research commissioned by the Care Quality Commission, highlighting where adult social care providers feel they need more support with medication. We’ll uncover the gaps in medicines management and discuss how pharmacists pharmacy professionals can play a vital role in addressing these challenges, working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary approach.

Join us to explore how strengthening links with adult social care benefits patients, providers, and the healthcare system as a whole. Together, we can build a more connected and supportive system for everyone.
