Women’s Health - exploring the integration of women's healthcare into existing pharmacy workstreams

09 May 2025
Royal Pharmaceutical Society Theatre
This session will explore opportunities to integrate Women’s Health services into existing pharmacy workstreams and highlight the potential across all pharmacy sectors to accomplish this.

We will hear from Women’s Health pharmacists specialising in contraception and menopause and their success in achieving this and learn, from those with lived experience, about challenges and barriers faced by women accessing Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) services.

This will generate discussion and reflection of how, as pharmacists, we can identify opportunities and integrate this approach within our own scope of practice.
Chairperson
Matthew Prior, Deputy Director of Pharmacy - University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust
Speakers
Kellie King, Scottish Clinical Leadership Fellow - Royal Pharmaceutical Society
Danny Bartlett, Clinical lead - Primary Care School Kent Surrey and Sussex
Scott Brown, Women’s Health Pharmacist - NHS Ayrshire and Arran
