Supporting patient care across the NHS: careers beyond clinical roles

This panel showcases pharmacy professionals from the NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service who have moved from clinical, patient facing roles into careers in procurement, aseptic services, medicines governance and digital pharmacy. Panel members will share practical highlights from their career journeys, including what motivated their transitions, the skills they drew on, and what they’ve learned along the way. The session aims to broaden awareness of non clinical NHS pharmacy career options and will include time for audience questions and discussion.
