Centre for Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation in Pharmacogenomics (CERSI-PGx)

09 May 2026
Medicines Optimisation Workshops

Regulation is important in the implementation of pharmacogenomics into clinical practice.

Regulatory pathways for pharmacogenomics are complicated and sometimes unclear, largely because they are derived from an era where genomics was a pipe dream

The CERSI-PGx has been working with regulators to develop proportionate, patient-focused, inclusive and forward-looking regulatory pathways to facilitate pharmacogenomics innovation and implementation

Speakers
Jackie O'Brien, Director & UK-IPN Program Chair - UK Industry Pharmacogenomics Network
