This session shares personal reflections from Clinical Fellows on what it is really like to step out of frontline practice and into national leadership roles. Drawing on my experience as a Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s Clinical Fellow, I will reflect on the challenges, opportunities and unexpected learning that come with working at the interface of clinical care, policy and digital transformation. The session will touch on how the Fellowship has shaped my understanding of system‑level change, influenced my career direction, and helped me translate clinical insight into national programmes. Attendees will gain an honest perspective on the Fellowship journey, the skills it develops, and how early‑career pharmacists can contribute to shaping the future of healthcare beyond traditional roles.
