Using PSIRF principles and effectively embedding medication safety within organisational PSIRF plans can support prioritisation and active organisational engagement with medication safety improvement initiatives.

The sessions aims to:

  • Support the understanding of the impact that PSIRF can have on safer use of medication improvement work.
  • Showcase how pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are ideally placed to provide the medication safety expertise and leadership required to effectively embed medication safety within an organisation.
  • Showcase exemplar practices where PSIRF principles have effectively been embedded within pharmacy systems.
