This session aims to support clinical pharmacists with an update on evidence based management of patients with osteoporosis and high fragility fracture risks. With a move from simply depending on DEXA scans T-scores for a diagnosis of osteoporosis to evaluating a patient using validated fracture risk assessment tools. The NHS 10 year strategy includes support for nationwide fracture liaison services - how will clinical pharmacists support FLS services? At what point in the patient journey will there be a need for medicines management support?
