Pharmacy Technician Professional Practice: exploring roles across the four pillars of practice

09 May 2026
Technology & Innovation Theatre

Join us for an engaging panel discussion exploring Pharmacy Technician Professional Practice through the lens of the four pillars of practice: clinical, leadership, education, and research. Open to all, this session will highlight how pharmacy technicians are expanding their roles across diverse healthcare settings and contributing meaningfully within each pillar. Our panellists will share their personal journeys, practical experiences, and insights into how post-registration education and ongoing professional development have supported their growth and impact. The discussion will demonstrate how strengthening capability across the four pillars enhances patient care, supports service development, advances the profession, and creates rewarding and sustainable career pathways. Attendees will gain practical tips, inspiration, and a clearer understanding of how to map their own professional development across the pillars of practice.
