Realising the 4th shift: what could effective NHS-industry collaboration look like?

Medicines Optimisation Workshops

This workshop will cover the potential benefits and practical considerations to establish successful NHS and Pharmaceutical Industry partnership working. We will present a recent case study carried out in a Midlands ICB to show potential improvements for NHS, pharmaceutical industry and patients. The presentation will outline the details required to establish successful partnerships and provide insight to prevent pitfalls.

The workshop is relevant for NHS leads and Industry colleagues. It will have a focus on Integrated Care Systems and will be relevant to primary and secondary care. 
Attendees will benefit from a clearer understanding of the potential achievement, timescales, resources and skills required to achieve a successful partnership. It will support QIPP delivery and patient safety programmes. It will provide insight for pharmaceutical industry colleagues to understand the NHS systems.
