This presentation explores how a pharmacy and Business Intelligence (BI) led collaboration at Medway NHS Foundation Trust is transforming the way medicines expenditure data is used to support medicines optimisation.

Many organisations have access to large volumes of data but face challenges in turning this into meaningful, actionable insight to support financial control and Cost Improvement Programmes (CIPs). This session will outline the journey from traditional reporting approaches to a more dynamic, accessible solution designed to enhance visibility and support decision making across teams.

Through a live demonstration, we will showcase how improved access to timely data can support better understanding of medicines spend, highlight variation and enable more proactive management of resources.
