Key findings from the UK wide Pharmaceutical Public Health (PPH) evidence review and recommendations
- By the end of the session delegates will be able to describe the key findings and recommendations from the PPH mixed method review which involved four separate investigations:
- •Seven rapid evidence reviews on topics relating to the expanded role of pharmacy professionals outside traditional community pharmacy settings.
- •A call for evidence from key pharmacy stakeholders across UK to identify additional grey literature, relevant policy documents and case studies.
- •Two surveys, the first sought the views of pharmacy professionals with interest in public health and the second sought the views of public health professionals/specialists. The surveys explored how pharmacy professionals are working in public/population health roles as well as barriers and facilitators.
