Lessons Learnt from the HEE Interim Foundation Pharmacist Programme
The Interim Foundation Pharmacist Programme (IFPP) was created to support trainee pharmacists who had their training year and registration assessment disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. During the implementation of the IFPP an evaluation was carried out, by an independent research company, to learn from the implementation of this nationwide, cross sectoral, work based programme.
This presentation will provide an overview of what lessons were learnt from the evaluation and how this is influencing the implementation of the initial education and training standards of pharmacists reform programme and other programmes of work across England.
