Overprescribing - how PrescQIPP can support you
PrescQIPP has a wealth of resources to help with implementing the recommendations from the National Overprescribing Review – 'Good for me, good for you, good for everyone', which was published in September 2021. This presentation will cover what is available to you through the new ICS subscription which extends access to PrescQIPP resources to health professionals working in secondary care, in addition to the existing access for those in primary care, including PCN and GP practice staff. Carol Roberts, PrescQIPP Chief Executive, Katie Smith, PrescQIPP Director of Clinical Quality and Sue Smith, PrescQIPP Head of Education will highlight a variety of tools which support system-wide medicines optimization, medication review and deprescribing. As well as showcasing specific bulletins, we will demonstrate the PrescQIPP Improving Medicines and Polypharmacy Appropriateness Clinical Tool (IMPACT) and an array of education and training materials.
