Planetary Health Report Card: A student-driven, metric-based initiative to inspire planetary health & sustainable healthcare education in pharmacy schools

The Planetary Health Report Card (PHRC) is a student-driven, metric-based initiative to inspire planetary health and sustainable healthcare education engagement in medical schools. The application of the PHRC to pharmacy schools was a natural and necessary adaptation of the original initiative and metrics. Pharmacy has a direct and detrimental impact on planetary health and this contradiction in patient care must be addressed and actioned. Ultimately, we must equip our future pharmacists with the knowledge and skills to practice sustainably. The responsibility for developing this expertise and competence lies with our educators.

  • - To gain an understanding of the Planetary Health Report Card for Pharmacy
  • - To appreciate the importance of planetary health teaching within the Mpharm degree
  • - To get an insight into the views of pharmacy students internationally on planetary health and pharmacy education
