Rheumatology update for community and practice based pharmacists

To enable community pharmacists and practice pharmacists to support patients to live well with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) by helping them understand more about their condition and optimising medicine management to help reduce disease burden and minimise disease progression.
Learning outcomes:
- Support a patient to self-manage a flare up of disease activity
- Provide general advice on disease modifying medication and monitoring
- Provide appropriate lifestyle advice to reduce cardiovascular risk associated with RA
- Act as a supportive link between patients and primary and secondary care services, including appropriate referral and signposting.
