• Understand the purpose of the project and the benefits of a review of the pharmacy technician workforce in community pharmacy
• Discuss some of the perceived barriers to training pharmacy technicians in community pharmacy
• Explain some of the potential challenges community pharmacy face with recruitment and retention of pharmacy technicians
• Recognise the value of promoting the pharmacy technician profession as an attractive career
• Recognise the value of promoting the benefits of training and employing pharmacy technicians in community pharmacy
• Understand how they can get involved in the project
