Specialist Pharmacy Service (SPS) Supporting Primary Care - a Pharmacy Integration Project

The SPS Pharmacy Integration Project has been commissioned to develop and deliver a range of resources, professional development tools and networks to support pharmacy colleagues working in PCNs, care homes and community pharmacy settings across England. The project aims to enable this workforce to gain improved clinical problem-solving skills and support them to deliver evidence-based medicines optimisation to patients.
Learning outcomes
In attending this session participants will:
- learn about the SPS Primary Care Pharmacy Integration Project
- identify where SPS developed bespoke primary care resources can be accessed
- explore areas of upskilling identified by the primary care workforce and how SPS are meeting this ask
- contribute to the future direction of travel of the project
