CPC awarded with an exhibition industry's Oscar

The Clinical Pharmacy Congress (CPC) continues to go from strength to strength and was recently awarded the best trade show (under 2,000sqm), by the prestigious Association of Exhibition Organisers, the exhibition industry's Oscars.

This fantastic accolade means both the events industry, as well as the pharmacy sector, recognises CPC as the go to event for the pharmacy community across the UK.

CPC which will run its eighth edition on 7th- 8th June 2019 at ExCeL, broke another record at the 2018 event attracting 2,908 pharmacy professionals, making it once again, the largest and most senior gathering of pharmacy professionals in UK and Europe.

“It is quite overwhelming that the exhibition industry has rewarded the healthcare sector with this prestigious award – the whole team behind the event are delighted with the award and are looking forward to creating a bigger and better event in 2019” says Laura Shapiro, Event Director for CPC which belongs to a series of award-winning CloserStill Media events which are all designed to put suppliers in direct contact with their target market whilst producing world-class clinical content for delegates, fully subsidised.

CPC is also supported by the majority of leading pharmaceutical companies who exhibit year-on-year including Biogen, AbbVie, Daiichi-Sankyo, Bayer, Pfizer and GSK.

Since the launch event in 2012, CPC has quickly become the sectors favourite event with a strong community feel around it. 2018 marked a very significant year for pharmacy professionals with the introduction of revalidation. Being the true community event it is, the organisers quickly reacted to this change, designing and building a dedicated revalidation platform for delegates to overcome the first hurdles in their appraisals and providing an online support network.
