In this panel session members of the critical care pharmacy community will talk about the expanded role that pharmacy technicians can deliver, covering the four pillars of professional practice - clinical, leadership, research and education.

  • After this session, attendees will be able to:
  • 1) Describe how pharmacy technicians support wider medicines optimisation activity in critical care
  • 2) Describe the challenges and opportunities involved in establishing their presence
  • 3) Define the requirements they need in their field of practice to expand the pharmacy technician role.
