Hot topics in frailty through a pharmacy lens

22 Nov 2025
Clinical Theatre 2
Clinical Practice

This session will showcase three hot topics in frailty: polypharmacy and medicines optimisation, bone health and falls. The panel will present clinical information as well as sharing experiences and practical advice regarding local service development in relation to these areas. You will then be invited to join an open-discussion with panel members regarding your own hot topics relating to frailty in a supportive, knowledge-sharing environment.

  • Learning outcomes:
  • 1. To become more confident in understanding and managing needs of frail patients
  • 2. To learn about local service initiatives and increase understanding of how to grow your own frailty pharmacy service
  • 3. To share local practice and engage in discussion with fellow frailty pharmacists.
