An introduction to advanced pharmacological management of rheumatic diseases
This session explores the evolving role of clinical pharmacists in optimising therapy for patients with rheumatic conditions. Attendees will gain insights into the latest pharmacological advancements—including biologic and targeted synthetic DMARDs—along with strategies for therapeutic monitoring and patient counselling. Emphasising evidence-based practice and interprofessional collaboration, the presentation equips pharmacists with the knowledge and confidence to lead in the delivery of safe, effective, and personalised rheumatologic care.
