This session will focus on the initial education and training (IET) standards for pharmacy technician consultation that was launched in October 2025.

• We will look at the background that has led to the proposed changes, the pre-engagement work carried out by the GPhC, provide an update on the proposed changes to the IETs and clarify the next steps once the consultation closes in December 2025.
