This session explores how reciprocal mentoring can shape inclusive clinical leadership. By pairing senior leaders with professionals from underrepresented backgrounds, the approach fosters mutual learning, challenges traditional hierarchies, and drives equity-focused change. Attendees will gain insight into how lived experience can inform leadership, and how mentoring relationships can support cultural humility, allyship, and inclusive decision-making. The session will offer practical strategies for embedding reciprocal mentoring into organisational culture to strengthen diverse talent pipelines and empower future pharmacy leaders.

  • The concept and value of reciprocal mentoring in clinical and pharmacy leadership. Recognise how lived experience can inform inclusive decision-making and leadership development. Identifies practical steps to embed reciprocal mentoring within organisational culture. Reflects on the role of allyship, cultural humility, and power-sharing in leadership growth. Mentoring strategies to support diverse talent pipelines and future clinical leaders.
