It is projected to become the fifth leading cause of premature death by 2040, and current estimates suggest that NHS costs could reach £10.9 billion by 2033 if current trends continue. This session will explore innovative approaches and best practices aimed at improving the recognition, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of chronic kidney disease.

• - Describe key steps in identifying people at risk of, or with, early stage CKD, including monitoring and coding
• - Understand use of current treatment options to help slow the progression of early stage CKD and manage overall risk
