In 2020 the RPS published its report “Utilising community pharmacists to support people with cancer” which highlighted the huge potential for community pharmacy in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.  It also highlighted the need for further training to ensure pharmacists and their teams are adequately trained to do so.

With this in mind, we present the British Oncology Pharmacy Association’s (BOPA) new e-learning series: Let’s Communicate Cancer.  Aimed at ALL staff working in the pharmacy and beyond, this package of bite-sized videos, animation, quizzes and resources will give pharmacy staff the confidence and knowledge to help their cancer patients.

This session will introduce Let’s Communicate Cancer and welcomes pharmacists from all sectors to join the discussion about pharmacy’s future in cancer.
