In this practical workshop we’ll cover: • What are Dependence Forming Medications (DFMs) and how much do we use? • Why should we be concerned about their use? • Are DFMs of benefit to patients and what are the risks associated with their use? • Which patients are most at risk from DFMs? • How can we reduce DFM use in individual patients? • What resources are available to support deprescribing DFMs? • Where can I find further information on DFMs?
