In 2022, in England, there were 94,397 people living with a diagnosed HIV infection and accessing care. Due to successful treatment, half of diagnosed people living with HIV were aged 50 years or over. This means that there is an ageing population living with HIV who can present to other specialties within hospitals and community pharmacy. This presentation provides a Foundation level understanding and awareness of managing people living with HIV.
