PrescQIPP Annual Event and Awards 2024

PrescQIPP Annual Event and Awards 2024

Thank you to those who came and listened to our sessions and engaged with us at the Clinical Pharmacy Congress on Friday 10th May. It was great to be able to showcase our evidence based resources and implementation tools to support structured medication reviews and highlight the power of data that is available to you in the array of data analyses on our website.

If you have been working on a project and would like to share what you have done with others, and be in with a chance of winning a prestigious PrescQIPP award, why not enter the PrescQIPP Annual awards?

The five award categories for 2024 are

  • Addressing health inequalities
  • Care homes/domiciliary care/carer medicines optimisation
  • Data tools and technology to support medicines optimisation
  • Enhanced productivity, sustainability and value for money
  • Patient safety and addressing overprescribing

You don't need to be a PrescQIPP subscriber to enter the awards, as they're open to all NHS teams across all sectors.

Just complete the Word submission form and the on-line entry form before Friday 14th June 2024.

The PrescQIPP Annual Event and Awards takes place on Tuesday 1st October 2024, 10.00 – 15.30 at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham, NG7, 2RJ.

It will be great to get together in person to network and hear from great speakers and award winners, alongside updates from the PrescQIPP team.

We have an interesting day planned with a morning focussing on pharmacogenomics and an afternoon on polypharmacy, with the following fantastic speakers:

  • Professor Sir Munir Pirmohamed, NHS Chair of Pharmacogenetics – ‘Pharmacogenomics’

  • Alpana Mair, Head of Effective Prescribing and Therapeutics Division, Scottish Government – ‘Findings and outputs from iSYMPATHY’
  • Clare Howard, Health Innovation Network Clinical Lead Pharmacist– ‘Polypharmacy Programme’ - the benefits of supporting healthcare professionals

Register here to join us in Nottingham for an interesting and interactive day, highlighting and sharing good practice for the benefit of patients. We look forward to engaging with you again in 2024!
