THE CLINICAL PHARMACY CONGRESS CELEBRATES ITS COMEBACK

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: 28-September 2021 ' Reunited and it feels so good! The Clinical Pharmacy Congress (CPC), named AEO's Best Trade Show twice, returned to the ExCeL London on the 24-25 September 2021 ' live and in person ' providing clinical pharmacy professionals across the country access to inspiring new content, over 125 leading pharmaceutical suppliers and training and development opportunities to 2,172 visitors.

We will be back next spring on the 12-13 May 2022 and you really hope you will join us. Being the first major reunion of the industry CPC hosted popular clinical, political and sessions surrounding current issues in eleven theatres and workshops as well as offering multiple networking opportunities on the exhibition floor. The practical skills zone returned for another year and the showcase theatre featuring everyday challenges and projects opened its doors. The beloved poster zone hosted over 80+ abstracts submitted from pharmacy professionals in the sector.

There was plenty to celebrate. The 2021 edition marked CPC tenth year running, in recognition of the anniversary a celebration took place on Saturday whilst also honouring World Pharmacists Day and the incredible efforts and sacrifices made during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Clinical Pharmacy Congress Awards presented by Paula Higginson, CPPE and Dr Keith Ridge CBE, Chief Pharmaceutical Officer, NHS England and NHS Improvement, acknowledged pharmacy professionals in the categories of COVID hero, Excellence in Hospital Pharmacy Practice, Clinical Community Pharmacy Practice, Clinical Leadership, General Practice Pharmacy and Use of Technology in Pharmacy Practice. CloserStill Media the organisers of CPC presented Dr Ridge with a retirement gift and thanked him for his support of the event over the last ten years.

Feedback from the CPC suppliers that joined the exhibition was also hugely positive ' with businesses reporting two extremely successful days of business and networking. They also noted on the special atmosphere around the exhibition floor. Most were delighted to be back at an in person event networking with customers and suppliers.
