Abbie is the National Pharmacy Technician Lead for the Primary Care Pharmacy Association (PCPA), bringing 17 years of experience across community pharmacy, secondary care, and primary care settings. She is deeply committed to advancing the role of Pharmacy Technicians within primary care, championing professional development and innovation in practice. Abbie has a particular interest in CVD prevention and is also actively involved in research delivery in primary care. She serves as the research delivery lead for her GP practice and is a named Principal Investigator, demonstrating her leadership in research and paving the way for more pharmacy technicians to be involved in research delivery. In recognition of her contributions to the profession, Abbie was awarded the APTUK 2025 Advancing Clinical Practice Award, highlighting her dedication, expertise, and impact on patient care and for the pharmacy technician workforce in primary care settings.
