Aleksandra Houghton is Senior Medicines Optimisation Adviser specialising in Patient Safety and Governance in Manchester locality at the NHS Greater Manchester (GM). She is Medication Safety Officer (MSO) for Manchester locality. Aleksandra is co-chairing Greater Manchester Integrating Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation (IPMO) Safety Subgroup of Greater Manchester Medicines Management Group (GMMMG). She has worked as pharmacist across many settings including community, hospital, primary care and commissioning within various GM localities. In her current role she specialises in medicine safety and leads on Manchester and Greater Manchester medicine safety priorities.
