Aliya is a passionate and dedicated high cost drugs pharmacist who has led the establishment of a prior approval system for locally commissioned high-cost drugs, entailing the introduction and implementation of such medications. Her career has involved the development of homecare services, as well as the comprehensive overhaul and assessment of the entire formulary for the north and north east region of Lincolnshire. Active engagement in Area Prescribing Committees and Medicines and Therapeutic Committees, along with serving as a panel member for IVIG, have been integral to her work. Her approach is grounded in the promotion of fair and equitable access to treatment for the communities served, with a vision to foster collaboration with integrated care boards, acknowledging that patient care extends beyond geographical boundaries.
