Amna Khan-Patel is a pharmacist who currently is the Senior Engagement Manager for Healthcare at GS1 UK. She was a Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s Clinical Fellowship (2023/24) at NHS England in the Digital Medicines Programme. She previously worked in secondary care, completing an MSc focused on quality improvement to support the implementation of an electronic pharmacy handover. During her fellowship, she led a national project on closed loop medicines management, assessing system adoption, enablers and barriers for widespread adoption across the NHS. Amna is passionate about developing the pharmacy workforce, particularly in digital skills. She is committed to enhancing patient care through technology and advancing digital literacy to support safer, more efficient healthcare delivery.
