Ann is the Associate CCIO (Medicines) for NHSX. She is a former Director of Hospital Pharmacy having worked at all levels in this sector. She has led various local and national initiatives around Digital Medicines and ePrescribing with experience in the development, deployment and evaluation of digital technologies. She holds several honorary academic appointments, being co-investigator on a number of research grants and was a member of the advisory board for the Wachter review and also the Scottish Digital Strategy. She is a Founding Fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics and is the current vice chair of the education subgroup.
