Asma Hassan is a senior pharmacist with over 10 years of clinical experience as a hospital pharmacist. In 2023, she specialised as the lead pharmacist for surgical prehabilitation at St Marks hospital, The National Bowel Hospital. This is an innovative role and the first of its kind. She also leads the haemoglobin pre-operative optimisation service, the post-operative surgical pharmacy service and the Pharmacy Integrated Care Service (PICS) at St Marks.
