Assie O’Connor is an Advanced Practitioner and Independent Prescribing Pharmacist specialising in rheumatology, with experience spanning community, primary care and secondary care. She has a strong background in medicines safety, clinical governance and advanced clinical practice, and currently works in a hybrid role bridging rheumatology and pharmacy services. Assie is an experienced educator and national conference speaker and is undertaking a Professional Doctorate in Pharmacy focused on workforce development and safe prescribing practice.
