Catherine is a pharmacist working in a specialist role in the lipid clinic at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, optimising medication and identifying people who meet genetic testing criteria for Familial Hypercholesterolaemia. She has a keen interest in post graduate pharmacy education and delivers events for CPPE (associated with Manchester University/ HEE) and has developed educational materials for CPPE on Familial Hypercholesterolaemia, CVD and prescribing for non-medical prescribers. She was recently awarded research funding to develop research skills with Newcastle University and has a keen interest in translational research.
