Christina is the lead author for PGDs and national flu and COVID-19 protocols at UKHSA and has been in post since December 2022. Her work requires collaboration with public health colleagues internally and externally, across the UK and in DHSC and NHSE, across a wide variety of immunisation programmes. She has a previous background of clinical policy and commissioning development in Derby and Black Country ICBs, implementing EBI/PLCV across 2 different ICBs - Derbyshire and the Black Country. Having qualified in 2006, she has depth and breadth of experience of working in all sectors of the profession, including in academia as a postgraduate diploma and IP assessor, pharma, community pharmacy (locum) and spent the last 6 years in primary care/ ICBs. She specialised in general surgery, admissions and urology after 11 years as a hospital pharmacist. She also peer reviews portfolios to the RPS Faculty and research submissions for Pharmacy Research UK (PRUK), when time allows.
