Daniel Jones

Dan is employed by Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT) in a mixed role. His time is split between his role as an Education Program Director for the trust's 16 trainee pharmacists, a health inequalities fellowship in conjunction with University of Salford and a new clinical role as Wythenshawe Hospital's haematology pharmacist. Dan has been employed by MFT in a number of roles, primarily within the education and training team. He has worked as a clinical tutor to design and deliver hospital placements for the University of Manchester's MPharm degree, led a project to implement the new intial education and training standards for pharmacists across all sites of MFT and has worked clinically as a prescriber in a variety of specialities. Dan has a keen interest in service development and has completed a number of successful projects and published research in the areas of equality, diversity and inclusion and health inequalities. Prior to MFT, Dan was employed by East Chehsire NHS Trust in Macclesfield.
